Preparing For Home

This morning we loaded a bus and headed for the big city for our time of debriefing. We had planned to go to another city for our debrief but there has been flooding in the area so we decided to return to the city which we will fly out of. God has been so gracious to us in that we were never touched by the rain.

Our interpreter is from the city we are in now and works as a tour guide there so we have been in good hands. We were starving for American food so what’s more American than finding a McDonalds in East Asia! ¬†After downing our meals, our interpreter arranged for us to have VIP seating for a program at the city’s Cultural Arts Building. It was beautiful. We spent the rest of the evening prayer walking and enjoying the sites of this city!

Tonight we will rest and tomorrow we will prepare for the trip home.

Please pray for:

  1. Rest and recovery from a hard week of work in the field

  2. The gospel to find fertile soil

  3. The glory of God to be seen in East Asia
