Update # 5: Spreading the Word

Another incredible day. It’s been a day full of Divinely appointed meetings with locals. The more time I spend here the more I understand that God is, and always has been, providential but I am too dumb to notice sometimes.

Today my group had the privilege of spending time on a college campus with students. We played basketball and tennis with students until my legs wouldn’t work anymore. While doing that I learned two things… Number one, I’m terrible at tennis. And number two, I’m a dangerous tennis player (I might or might not have hit the tennis coach with a serve). But, because of this time with students we had many opportunities to share the gospel. People were very receptive and we have multiple follow up opportunities with the people we shared with.
The other group spent the day in an LZ village. They prayer walked through the village and even met a couple believers along the way. They also had opportunities to share the gospel. I still can’t get my brain around this, but people are hearing the gospel for the very first time! It’s amazing!
Well we are half way there, but we are half way not there too!
Goodnight (or good morning for you),
-JS

Please pray:
-that God would strengthen us to finish the task.
-for continued good health for the team.
-that God would move in the hearts of those with whom we have shared the gospel.
-that God would continue to bring people into our paths who need to hear about Him.

“And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.  For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life…” John 6:39-40
