Update #2: Praise and Petition

From Jim:

Praise for blessings yesterday:
1.  Our meeting with the pastor of the 3S (national church) went well. He seems to be like minded in our mission of evangelism and discipleship and to be a person we can work with.  (Admin side note: This is not typical for us to engage with someone in the state church, but God has opened a door that we are praying about. This is great news that is need of great prayer.) Much more to share upon return.

2. We made contact with our teacher friends.

3.Donnie played his guitar and sang in the city square and there were a lot of people there.

Petitions:
1.  The 3S pastor will take some of us today to village to look for first steps of compassion.  We will possibly be able to identify physical needs or things, may be clothes for kids or school supplies, maybe funding so kids can attend school..pray for open doors, protection from greed.

2.  We have been invited to a school at 5 pm.. Pray for Donnie’s voice and more good will to come among the people.

  1. Your friends in Syracuse have been praying for you guys since you left! Sounds like our Father has been directing your steps. Please convey our deep love for (J) and his precious wife. Also if you have the opportunity to meet with the young couple who recently had to move out of the (M) area due to health reasons, please tell them we are praying for complete healing. Assure them of our love and concern.

  2. Very excited to read the great things happening in short amount of time! Sense Father’s hand with you. We are blessed to be a blessing!
